Marilynne was surrounded by her children, Paul and Marilee, and her grandkids, Ally and Gabe. You could feel right away how close they all are.
They shared that these photos were “about the time spent making memories with our mom/grammy. These are for her, but also for us and our kids to remember how much love we have for each other.”
That kind of love shows up in the little things. The laughs. The way they stand close. The way they look at each other.

One of my favorite parts of getting to know this family was hearing about their yearly tradition.
Every year, they head to Center City Philadelphia to see the Christmas lights and celebrate Marilynne’s birthday together.
Simple moments like that are the ones that matter most.
The ones you look back on years later and say, that was everything.

Gabe’s Quiet Smile
Gabe, who is 13, might be a little shy at first—but not for long.
They shared, “Gabe can be shy at first, but generally opens up quickly. He loves animals like cats and rabbits!”
And it’s true. Once he warmed up, his personality started to shine. The quiet smiles. The soft laughs. The way he stayed close to his family.
He also loves video games, soccer, and football—so we made sure to keep things relaxed and fun so he could just be himself.

Not every family has a “must-have” shot quite like this one.
They told me, “One funny one where Paul is ‘strangling’ Marilee. It’s a recurring theme LOL.”
And yes—we captured it.
