There are some full-circle moments in life that just hit you right in the heart; and Cole’s senior session was one of them for me.
I used to babysit Cole when he was little, so getting to photograph his senior pictures felt extra special. It’s honestly hard to believe he’s graduating from Pennridge High School in 2026 already. Watching kids you once knew as little ones grow into confident young adults is the craziest feeling, and I’m so thankful I got to capture this huge milestone for him.
We planned Cole’s senior session at the Doylestown Airport, and it could not have fit him more perfectly. Cole loves aviation, trucks, dirt bikes, jet skiing, and spending time outdoors with friends. He also wrestles and volunteers with the fire company, which says so much about the kind of person he is; hardworking, adventurous, and always ready to help others.
But one of the coolest parts? The plane we used in his session was the same one he practices flying in. And yes… he has already flown it by himself all the way to Lancaster! How amazing is that?
You could see how much flying means to him the entire session. Being around the planes made him feel relaxed and confident, and that always helps photos feel more natural and real. We spent time capturing photos near the aircraft, along the runway areas, and of course some traditional cap and gown portraits too. The mix of casual senior portraits and aviation-inspired images made the session feel so personal to who Cole really is.
When I asked about his hobbies, Cole said he enjoys “trucks, dirt bikes, flying, jet skiing,” and honestly, that energy matched the whole vibe of the session. It felt laid back, fun, and completely true to him. He also shared that he and his friends spend their time at “truck rallies, fishing, and riding dirt bikes,” which made it easy to picture all the adventures ahead of him after graduation.
One of my favorite little moments was hearing Cole say he thinks his best feature is his “hair.” And honestly? He’s not wrong. We definitely made sure the wind cooperated for those shots.
Cole plans to study Aeronautics and Flight at Florida Tech after graduation, and I truly can’t wait to see where life takes him next. There’s something really inspiring about watching someone chase such a big dream at such a young age. You can already tell he’s going places; literally.
Sessions like this are why I love being a Telford Pennsylvania photographer so much. It’s not just about taking pictures. It’s about telling stories and freezing moments that families will look back on years from now. As a Bucks County and Montgomery County photographer, getting to document these milestones for families I’ve known for years means everything to me.
Cole, thank you so much for trusting me to capture such an important season of your life. It was such an honor watching you grow up and getting to celebrate this moment with you and Eryn. Your future is so bright, and I know this is only the beginning of an incredible journey.
