There are some weddings that stay with you; and Marissa and Raymond’s day is one I’ll never forget.
From the moment I arrived at The Lodge at Liberty Hill on October 25th, 2025, I could feel it was going to be something special. The air was crisp, the light was soft, and everything felt calm in the most beautiful way. Their ceremony took place outside, on a stunning airstrip that seemed to stretch right into the horizon. It overlooked the golf course, and it truly felt like the kind of place where time slows down just enough to soak everything in.
Marissa and Raymond’s love story is layered, deep, and full of meaning. Marissa is a mom of five, and together, she and Ray share one child. Their family is big, full, and full of life; and you could feel that in every moment of the day. This wasn’t just a wedding. It was a celebration of everything they’ve built together.
One of the most emotional parts of the day was the speeches.
There were so many heartfelt words shared, but the ones that stayed with me the most were from Marissa’s two older daughters. They stood up, side by side, and spoke with so much love and honesty. You could hear how much they adore their mom, and how much Raymond means to them too. It was one of those moments where the whole room got quiet, and you could feel every word.
